UAE weather: 49°C heat followed by rain and stronger winds

## Extreme Heat and Cloudy Skies

The UAE is set to experience extreme temperatures reaching up to 49°C in certain areas on Saturday. The National Centre of Meteorology forecasts that northern and eastern regions will see increasing cloud cover, with a chance of rain developing over the coming days.

## Temperature Variations

While inland areas will face the highest temperatures, ranging from 44°C to 49°C, coastal regions and islands are expected to be slightly cooler, with temperatures between 40°C and 45°C. Mountainous areas will see temperatures from 32°C to 38°C.

## Wind and Sea Conditions

Winds are predicted to be light to moderate, occasionally freshening to speeds of up to 35 km/h. Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea will remain slight.

## Weather Changes from Sunday

On Sunday, partly cloudy to cloudy weather is expected in some northern and eastern areas, with the possibility of light rain. Humidity will increase overnight, potentially causing mist along coastal areas. Winds could reach speeds of 30 km/h.

## Unsettled Weather from Monday

Starting Monday, convective clouds may form in eastern areas, bringing rain and stronger winds up to 40 km/h, which could cause blowing dust. Mist is likely in some western coastal areas overnight.

## Extended Rain Chances

By Tuesday, the chance of rain will extend to eastern and southern regions, with similar conditions expected on Wednesday. Winds could again reach 40 km/h, and sea conditions may become slightly rougher, particularly in the Oman Sea.
