## Tragic Accident in Portugal

Nineteen-year-old British cyclist Finlay Tarling tragically lost his life during the Tour of Portugal. The accident occurred on Friday during the race's eighth stage, which stretched from Melgaco to Fafe.

## Collision Details

Tarling was involved in a head-on collision with a vehicle not associated with the race. This serious incident led to the suspension of the stage with about 20 kilometers remaining. In respect for Tarling, the podium ceremony was canceled.
