## Court Ruling
In a case that has shocked Egypt, a juvenile court in Ismailia has sentenced a 13-year-old boy to 15 years in a youth detention center. The boy was found guilty of murdering and dismembering a schoolmate, an incident that has drawn significant public attention.
## Incident Details
The crime occurred on October 12, when the accused lured his friend to his home in the New Station district. After a dispute at school, the boy attacked the victim and used his father's electric saw to dismember the body. The remains were later disposed of in a remote location.
## Investigation and Confession
During the investigation, the boy confessed to the crime, citing influence from violent films and video games. Forensic tests, including DNA analysis, were conducted to confirm the details of the crime.
## Mental Health Evaluation
A psychiatric evaluation by the Regional Council for Mental Health determined that the boy was mentally sound and fully responsible for his actions at the time of the offense. Despite the defense's request for further psychiatric assessment due to the crime's brutality, the court proceeded with the sentencing.
## Public Reaction
The case, referred to as the "Child of the Chainsaw," has sparked widespread outrage and debate over juvenile crime and media influence in Egypt.
