## Overview of Instalment Plans
As the new academic year approaches, UAE parents can opt for credit-card instalment plans to manage school fees. These plans vary in terms of cost, repayment duration, and eligibility criteria among different banks.
## Bank-Specific Offers
ADCB offers zero-interest instalments over three, six, or 12 months with a Dh50 processing fee per transaction. Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank allows fee division over similar periods without a processing fee, but certain card types are excluded.
Ajman Bank provides instalment options at selected institutions like City University College of Ajman, with a minimum transaction requirement. Al Hilal Bank offers a facility to transfer funds directly to schools, charging a one-time processing fee.
CBD Al Islami and Dubai Islamic Bank offer zero-profit instalment plans for eligible transactions, with specific conditions on card types and transaction amounts. Emirates Islamic provides up to 12-month instalments for transactions over Dh10,000.
Emirates NBD allows instalments over six or 12 months with a processing fee, while First Abu Dhabi Bank offers interest-free plans without a processing fee.
HSBC charges a 2.10% processing fee for up to 12-month instalments. National Bank of Fujairah offers a three-month plan without fees, and RAKBANK's charges vary based on payment methods.
Sharjah Islamic Bank provides instalment plans with varying administration fees and profit rates depending on the tenure.
## Considerations for Parents
Parents should verify the total cost, including any processing or administration fees, as these can significantly affect the overall expense. It's also important to confirm the eligibility of transactions based on merchant codes and ensure the school accepts the payment method.
