Glowin Chell, an 18-year-old Indian expatriate student from Sharjah, has passed away after battling cancer. She died in Tamil Nadu, India, where she had returned for treatment. Her passing has left her family and school community in deep sorrow.

## A Promising Student

Glowin was a Grade 12 student at GEMS Our Own English High School in Sharjah. She was diagnosed with cancer last August and had to pause her studies for treatment. Despite resuming her education, her condition worsened, leading to her hospitalization in Sharjah before moving to a medical facility in Vellore, India.

## Family and School Mourn

Her father, Dr. Vijayakumar, an Institutional Outreach Officer in Dubai, shared that Glowin was well-loved by her friends and teachers. Her mother, Subhamalar, left her teaching job to care for Glowin during her illness. The school expressed profound sorrow over her passing, highlighting her cherished presence and extending condolences to her family.
