## Strong Growth in Orders
Talabat has revised its 2026 financial outlook upwards following a robust performance in the first half of the year. Despite an 18% drop in second-quarter profits, the company anticipates a net income of up to $355 million, driven by increased orders and revenue.
## Financial Projections
The delivery platform now expects its gross merchandise value (GMV) to grow between 13% and 15%, with revenue growth projected at 16% to 18%. Adjusted EBITDA is forecasted to range from $535 million to $565 million.
## Q2 Performance
In the second quarter, Talabat's GMV rose to $2.9 billion, marking an 11% increase year-on-year. Revenue climbed 16% to $1.1 billion, supported by growth in Talabat Mart and advertising. However, net income fell to $100 million due to ongoing investments.
## Strategic Investments
Talabat continues to invest heavily in its grocery and loyalty programs, as well as its broader app strategy. This includes a $120 million investment program aimed at expanding its everyday app services.
## Market Expansion
The company saw significant growth in non-GCC markets like Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq, where GMV increased by 41%. These regions now contribute 22% to the total GMV, up from 17% last year.
## Share Buyback and Dividends
Talabat has initiated a share buyback program, purchasing over 108 million shares. The company maintains its dividend policy with a 90% payout ratio, planning an interim dividend based on first-half earnings.
