UAE traffic update: Heavy congestion on Dubai-Sharjah routes this evening

## Heavy Traffic on Key Routes

Motorists traveling between Dubai and Sharjah this Tuesday evening, August 11, are experiencing significant delays due to heavy congestion. The usual rush-hour traffic is particularly intense on the Dubai-Sharjah routes.

## Affected Roads

Al Ittihad Road (E11) is heavily congested, especially through Deira and Abu Hail, with slow-moving traffic near Al Mamzar. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) is also experiencing stop-and-go conditions near Al Qusais and Muhaisnah, with notable delays around Al Qusais Cemetery and Grand Hyper Muhaisnah.

Tripoli Street (D93) and Beirut Street (D95) are facing heavy traffic through Al Qusais and Muhaisnah. In Deira, there are delays on Al Rigga Road, Salahuddin Road, and around the Clocktower area. Airport Road (D89) is slow near Dubai International Airport, and Damascus Street (D91) and Al Nahda Road (D95) are congested towards Al Nahda.

## Sharjah Traffic

Inbound routes into Sharjah are under pressure, with congestion on Al Taawun Street and the Corniche. The Industrial Area's internal roads and E311 near Sharjah's industrial zones are moving slowly, with delays also on Al Wahda Street approaches.

## Alternative Routes

Emirates Road (E611) and routes through Mirdif and Al Warqa remain relatively clear, providing alternatives for those traveling between the emirates. Drivers are advised to allow extra time, consider using E611 instead of E11 and E311, and check live navigation apps before starting their journey.
