This discovery prompted the NTRA to refer these operators to the Public Prosecution.

Operators must also notify users with older records to update their information by visiting company branches.

As of December, Egypt had approximately 123 million mobile subscriptions. The country's mobile services are provided by Orange Egypt, Vodafone Egypt, e& Egypt, and WE.
