## Incident Details

AR Ameen, son of renowned composer AR Rahman, was involved in a car accident in Chennai near the Kathipara flyover. The incident occurred on a Sunday evening as Ameen was traveling with a friend from Koyambedu towards the city. Their vehicle, a Porsche, was struck by a Wagon-R that reportedly merged onto the main road from a side lane.

## Injuries and Hospitalization

Both Ameen and his friend sustained minor bruises and were taken to Kauvery Hospital as a precaution. They were treated and discharged on the same day. The driver of the Wagon-R also received medical attention at a different hospital and was later released.

## Investigation

The Adyar Traffic Investigation Wing has seized both vehicles involved in the crash. A formal case has been filed as authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
