## Tragic Loss for Family
Nkeng Boris, a 29-year-old Cameroonian mechanic, tragically lost his life in a gas cylinder explosion in Dubai on August 3. This incident marks the second devastating loss for his family, who had already mourned the death of his brother in 2024.
## Sole Breadwinner
Boris had been living in the UAE since 2019, working passionately as an auto mechanic. He was the primary financial support for his family, which includes three sisters. With both parents deceased and his brother gone, Boris's sudden death leaves his family facing an uncertain future.
## Unfulfilled Dreams
Boris was engaged and planning to marry his fiancée in Cameroon by the end of the year. His untimely death has left his family and friends remembering him as a loving, hardworking, and jovial individual who brought joy to those around him.
## Second Victim Identified
The explosion also claimed the life of Shijin Paul, a 27-year-old Indian expat from Kerala, who worked as a multimedia marketing specialist. Both the Cameroonian and Indian consulates are assisting with the repatriation of the victims' remains.
