UAE weather: Rain hits Sharjah as unstable conditions continue

## Rainfall in Sharjah

Sharjah's Al Madam area experienced rainfall on Saturday as unstable weather patterns continue to affect the UAE. This follows moderate to heavy showers on Friday in various regions, including Al Khair and the Abu Dhabi-Al Dhafra Road, where sandstorms also impacted visibility.

## Weather Forecast

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts that these unsettled conditions will persist until Tuesday. The UAE is currently under the influence of a surface low-pressure system from the east, coupled with a weak upper-level low. Saturday's weather includes partly cloudy skies, occasional dust, and convective cloud formation in eastern and southern regions, which may lead to more rain.

## Wind and Visibility

Winds are expected to vary from light to moderate, becoming stronger with cloud activity, and may cause blowing dust and sand at speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, with gusts up to 50 km/h. Motorists are advised to drive cautiously due to reduced visibility from dust and rain.

## Sea Conditions

Seas in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to remain slight. The NCM forecasts similar weather conditions over the next three days, with showers likely in eastern and southern parts of the country, extending to some inland areas.
