The United Arab Emirates has announced an extension of corporate tax relief for small businesses until the end of 2029. This decision allows businesses with annual revenues up to Dh3 million to continue benefiting from simplified tax compliance.

## Revenue Threshold Maintained

The existing revenue threshold of Dh3 million, established under Ministerial Decision No. 73 of 2023, remains unchanged. This threshold applies to tax periods starting from June 1, 2023, and now extends to those ending on or before December 31, 2029.

## Support for Small Businesses

The extension aims to ease the tax compliance burden on smaller businesses and start-ups, encouraging growth and expansion. The Ministry of Finance highlighted that this move is part of broader efforts to support entrepreneurs and strengthen the business environment in the UAE.
