Sharjah completes Dh30 million Al Hisn Island Bridge in Dibba Al Hisn

## New Infrastructure in Dibba Al Hisn

Sharjah's Roads and Transport Authority has completed the Al Hisn Island Bridge project, a significant infrastructure development in Dibba Al Hisn. This Dh30 million bridge spans 54 meters across the Dibba Al Hisn waterway, enhancing connectivity between the island's two sides.

## Improved Traffic and Accessibility

The bridge aims to improve traffic flow and accessibility, supporting urban development in the area. It features a 320-meter dual carriageway that links the island's internal and external roundabouts, facilitating smoother vehicle movement. The road includes two lanes in each direction, separated by a central median, and pedestrian walkways on both sides.

## Architectural and Safety Features

Designed to reflect Sharjah's architectural identity, the bridge incorporates decorative lighting and pedestrian stairways to enhance safety and accessibility. This project is part of Sharjah's broader strategy to modernize its road network and promote sustainable urban growth, aligning with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi.
