Aramex revenue hits record Dh1.83 billion, profit rises sevenfold in Q2

## Record Revenue and Profit Growth

Aramex reported a significant financial milestone in the second quarter of 2026, achieving its highest-ever quarterly revenue of AED 1.83 billion. This marks a 22% increase compared to the same period last year. The company's net profit also saw a remarkable sevenfold increase, reaching AED 47 million.

## Freight Forwarding Success

The surge in revenue was largely driven by the freight forwarding segment, which recorded its highest quarterly revenue in the company's history. This success was attributed to strong customer demand and the effective use of air, sea, and land transport services. Aramex introduced new land routes between Europe and the Middle East and expanded its air and sea charter operations to maintain trade flows despite regional disruptions.

## Strategic Initiatives and Financial Health

Aramex's strategic initiatives, including the Accelerate28 transformation program, played a crucial role in enhancing profitability. The company managed to increase its earnings before interest and tax by 173% to AED 87 million. Gross profit rose by 19% to AED 392 million, with a consistent gross profit margin of 21.4%.

## Future Outlook

With a cash balance of AED 503 million and a debt-to-EBITDA ratio of 2.7 times, Aramex is well-positioned to continue investing in its transformation program and future growth plans. The company's CEO, Amadou Diallo, emphasized the importance of disciplined cost management and strategic execution in achieving sustainable growth.
