## Weather Alert in UAE
On August 5, the UAE experienced extreme weather with temperatures soaring to 51.2°C in Budu Dafs, Al Dhafra. This marks the highest temperature recorded in the country for the day.
## Rainfall Amidst Heat
Despite the intense heat, rain fell in the Bada Zayed area of Al Dhafra. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued alerts for convective cloud activity, predicting weather changes from 1:30pm to 10pm.
## Affected Areas
Cloud formations were observed over Al Dhafra, Al Ain, and near the Ras Al Khaimah-Fujairah border. Social media users shared images of the rain, and local trackers confirmed significant rainfall in Bada Zayed.
## Safety Advisories
Residents are advised to stay informed through NCM updates, as convective clouds can lead to sudden rain, strong winds, and reduced visibility. The NCM continues to monitor the situation and will provide further updates as needed.
