## New Online Service Launched

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has introduced an online service to facilitate the transfer of foreign workers from private companies to individuals for domestic roles. This initiative is part of efforts to regulate such transfers under specific conditions.

## Eligibility and Requirements

To be eligible, workers must possess a valid work permit and cannot hold senior roles in sectors like education, healthcare, or technical fields. The new position must be classified as domestic work. Applications require an electronically certified waiver from the current employer, proof of the new employer's financial capability, and a copy of the worker's residence permit.

## Wage Protection and Fees

The service aligns with the Wage Protection Programme, ensuring salaries are paid through approved channels. An annual fee of SR9,600 applies for each additional domestic worker beyond the allowed limit, with exceptions for humanitarian cases.
