## Profit Surge and Dividend Proposal
Agthia Group, based in Abu Dhabi, has announced a significant increase in its interim dividend following a substantial rise in profits for the first half of 2026. The company reported a 147.4% increase in net profit, reaching Dh121.4 million, compared to the same period last year. Consequently, the board has proposed a 14.4% increase in the interim dividend, amounting to 11.792 fils per share.
## Financial Performance Highlights
The group's revenue for the first half of the year rose by 7.4% to Dh2.6 billion. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) also saw a notable increase of 35.8%, reaching Dh310.5 million. The EBITDA margin improved by 250 basis points to 11.9%. This growth was partly driven by one-off sales through the UAE food security program.
## Strengthened Cash Flow and Reduced Debt
Agthia's free cash flow reached Dh521.4 million, reversing a previous outflow. The company reduced its net debt-to-EBITDA ratio from 2.9 times at the end of 2025 to 1.8 times by June 2026. Cash reserves increased to Dh869.6 million, and total assets grew to Dh6.5 billion.
## Sector Performance
In the second quarter, Agthia's revenue climbed to Dh1.3 billion, an 11.9% increase from the previous year. The Water and Food division led growth, with a 38.9% revenue increase. The Protein and Frozen division also performed well, with Nabil's revenue rising by 32.5%. The Agri-Business sector saw an 11% increase in revenue, driven by higher demand for animal feed.
