## Weather Alert Issued
The UAE's Ministry of Interior has issued a safety alert due to expected severe weather conditions, including rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds. The advisory is in effect through Friday, urging residents to follow safety guidelines.
## Safety Recommendations
Residents are advised to avoid unnecessary travel, especially in areas prone to flooding or rough seas. Motorists should drive cautiously, maintaining safe distances and reducing speed in poor visibility. Additionally, securing loose items around homes is recommended to prevent them from being blown away.
## Weather Conditions
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts convective clouds over eastern and southern regions, particularly in the afternoons, leading to varying rainfall intensities. Winds may strengthen, with gusts reaching up to 40kph, potentially causing reduced visibility due to blowing dust and sand.
## Temperature Forecast
Despite the rain, temperatures are expected to remain high, with maximums reaching 48°C in Liwa and 45°C in Dubai. The Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to remain slight to moderate.
## Official Guidance
The Ministry emphasizes the importance of adhering to official safety instructions to protect lives and property. Residents are encouraged to rely on official channels for updates as weather conditions evolve.
