## Workshops on Smart Mobility

Abu Dhabi is intensifying its efforts to promote autonomous transport through a series of workshops organized by the Integrated Transport Centre. These sessions focus on smart mobility across air, sea, and land sectors, aiming to enhance infrastructure and regulatory frameworks.

One of the workshops concentrated on the drone ecosystem, engaging over 100 representatives from more than 60 organizations. Discussions centered on improving regulatory procedures and operational efficiency, with participants introduced to the upgraded Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management system.

## Maritime Transport Developments

A dedicated workshop on autonomous maritime transport was held, featuring Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government. The session aimed to foster collaboration among regulators and operators, addressing challenges in adopting autonomous technologies in the maritime sector.

## Autonomous Freight and Delivery Vehicles

Another workshop focused on the future of autonomous heavy and delivery vehicles. Attendees discussed aligning regulations and integrating technologies to support the safe deployment of these vehicles. The session concluded with recommendations for developing regulatory frameworks and exploring investment opportunities.
