Emirates ranks among world's least likely airlines to cancel flights

## Emirates' Impressive Operational Performance

In June, Emirates was recognized as one of the most reliable airlines globally, achieving a remarkably low flight cancellation rate. According to data from aviation analytics firm OAG, only 0.16% of the airline's scheduled flights were canceled, translating to fewer than two cancellations per 1,000 flights.

## Regional and Global Rankings

Emirates ranked first in the Middle East and tied for 10th place worldwide among large airlines, alongside Aeromexico. The airline outperformed several major carriers, including Korean Air, Copa Airlines, Saudia, and WestJet, which all had higher cancellation rates.

## On-Time Performance

The airline also excelled in punctuality, ranking seventh globally for on-time performance among airlines operating between 10,000 and 20,000 flights monthly. OAG reported that 85.24% of Emirates flights arrived or departed within 15 minutes of their scheduled times, based on an analysis of 12,608 flights in June.
