Abu Dhabi launches Dh1.75m housing loan for subdivided farmland

## New Housing Initiative

Abu Dhabi has launched a new housing construction loan program aimed at enhancing family stability. The initiative, introduced by the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) in partnership with the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), offers a Dh1.75 million loan for subdivided agricultural land.

## Eligibility and Benefits

Eligible families can benefit from this program by subdividing their agricultural land among family members. Once subdivided, they can apply for the loan, which can be either repayable or deferred based on income. Additionally, a Dh250,000 grant is available alongside the loan, subject to specific conditions.

## Focus on Family and Social Cohesion

This initiative aligns with the "Year of Family" objectives, focusing on innovative housing solutions that promote family unity and social cohesion. The program initially targets agricultural lands in Al Rahbah, Al Bahyah, and Al Samhah, provided they meet legal and infrastructure requirements.

## Future Plans

Details on the application process and availability will be announced later this year. The ADHA and DMT aim to create a flexible planning ecosystem to support sustainable urban growth and improve quality of life in Abu Dhabi.
