Saudi Arabia recalls more than 6,500 BMWs over fire risk

## Recall Details

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Commerce has initiated a recall of 6,574 BMW vehicles, specifically targeting the 5 Series and 7 Series models from 2023 to 2025. The recall is due to a defect in the wiring harness of the driver's seat, which poses a risk of electrical short circuits that could lead to smoke or even a fire.

## Safety Measures

Owners of the affected vehicles are encouraged to verify their car's inclusion in the recall by checking the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the Recalls.sa website. The Ministry has advised contacting the Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Company to arrange for the necessary repairs, which will be provided at no cost to the vehicle owners.
