## New Career Pathways
flydubai is offering new career opportunities for UAE nationals interested in aviation. The airline is hosting a Careers Open Day on August 16 at its Dubai campus, focusing on pilot, engineering, flight dispatch, and graduate programs.
## Event Details
The event aims to attract students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals. Participants will have the chance to meet flydubai’s recruitment and talent development teams. Registration is open until August 15, with limited spaces available.
## Training and Development
The open day will highlight various training programs, including the Engineering Apprentice Programme (AMEL), Flight Dispatcher Programme, and pilot training routes like Ab Initio and Second Officer programs. These initiatives are designed to prepare UAE nationals for long-term careers in aviation.
## Fleet Expansion
flydubai is expanding its fleet, currently operating 97 aircraft with over 300 more on order. This includes 30 Boeing Dreamliners, 150 Airbus A321neo, and 75 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The expansion is expected to create thousands of jobs in various sectors such as engineering, flight operations, and technology.
## Workforce Growth
The airline employs nearly 7,000 people and serves over 120 destinations in 58 countries. The open day is part of flydubai’s strategy to develop a pipeline of Emirati professionals to support its growing operations.
