My Business: Clinic delays pushed this 25-year-old to build a pharmacy startup

## Inspiration from Clinic Delays

Mahmoud Abdelrazag Salih Suliman, a 25-year-old entrepreneur from Dubai, co-founded Neulink, a pharmacy management startup, after experiencing significant delays during a clinic visit. The visit, which lasted from late morning to mid-afternoon, highlighted inefficiencies in healthcare systems, prompting Suliman and his partner to develop a solution.

## From Solar Engineering to Healthcare

Suliman, who holds a degree in Solar and Alternate Energy, initially explored various business ideas during his university years. His entrepreneurial journey began with a solar-powered UAV project and an online marketplace. Despite considering a traditional career, his passion for entrepreneurship led him to establish Neulink.

## Building Neulink

Neulink was funded through grants from the Ministry of Education and the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, alongside investments from Suliman's previous ventures. The startup gained further momentum by joining the Sanabil Accelerator, which opened doors to the Saudi market.

## Overcoming Challenges

Neither Suliman nor his co-founder had a medical background, necessitating a steep learning curve to understand pharmacy operations and healthcare regulations. Support from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund has been instrumental in their progress.

## Vision for the Future

Neulink aims to become the leading pharmacy management platform in the region within five years. Suliman advises aspiring entrepreneurs to focus on genuine customer needs and to partner with co-founders who share their vision.
