## Wildfire Forces Clooney Evacuation

George and Amal Clooney have left their estate near Brignoles, France, due to a nearby wildfire. The couple, along with their nine-year-old twins, decided to evacuate as a precautionary measure, although they were not mandated to do so by authorities.

## Fire Impact in France

France is currently experiencing severe forest fires, with the largest blaze affecting 42,000 hectares in the southwest. The fire near the Clooneys' property has burned 130 hectares and led to the evacuation of over 600 residents. Most evacuees have since returned home.

## Clooneys' Commitment to Community

In a letter to the local mayor, the Clooneys expressed concern for their neighbors and pledged to support the community's recovery efforts. Their estate, Domaine du Canadel, includes a historic manor, vineyards, and other amenities.

## Firefighting Efforts

As of Thursday, 270 firefighters, aided by four helicopters, were battling the blaze in Brignoles. Four firefighters have sustained injuries during the operation.
