Jared Leto denies sexual assault allegations by multiple women: 'Absolutely and categorically false'

## Allegations Against Jared Leto

Actor and musician Jared Leto has firmly denied allegations of sexual assault and harassment made by ten women in a recent BBC documentary. The accusations span incidents from 2002 to 2016, during which Leto was in his 30s and 40s.

## Details of the Allegations

The documentary, titled "Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret," features claims from nine women who spoke publicly for the first time. Allegations include sexual assault of two women when they were 17, threats of sexual assault against a 19-year-old, and multiple explicit phone calls to a 16-year-old. One woman alleged she was sexually assaulted in a motel bathroom at 17, while another claimed underage sex with Leto in California.

## Leto's Response

Leto, 54, has categorically denied the allegations, stating, "I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life." He shared this statement with ABC News, emphasizing his innocence.

## Previous Accusations

This is not the first time Leto has faced such allegations. The BBC identified over 120 online claims regarding his behavior towards women. In 2025, several women accused him of sexual assault in an investigation by Air Mail, which he also denied.

## Documentary Highlights

The documentary also includes an incident where a woman alleged Leto made a sexualized comment about her at age 14 during an autograph signing and later instructed a security guard to bring her backstage at a music festival. Her mother reportedly confronted Leto, who allegedly repeated the comment.
