Vaibhav Sooryavanshi jumps 230 places in T20I rankings after Zimbabwe series

Fifteen-year-old Indian cricketer Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has made a significant impact in the ICC Men's T20I Batting Rankings. Following his impressive performances in the recent series against Zimbabwe, he has jumped 230 places to reach 48th position.

## Record-Breaking Performances

Sooryavanshi was named Player of the Series after scoring 151 runs at an average of 50.33. His standout performances included a rapid 50 off 19 balls in the first match and a career-best 81 from 49 balls in the final game. These achievements made him the first male player to score multiple half-centuries in T20Is before turning 16.

## Current Rankings

With 536 rating points, Sooryavanshi is still behind his teammate Ishan Kishan, who leads the T20I batting rankings with 910 points. Kishan achieved a career-high 916 points during the series, the third-highest ever for a T20I batter.

## Other Notable Movements

In other rankings, Tilak Varma moved up to sixth, and Shreyas Iyer climbed to 24th among T20I batters. In the bowling rankings, Ravi Bishnoi rose to 41st after taking three wickets against Zimbabwe. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe's Ryan Burl and Blessing Muzarabani also made gains in their respective categories.
