## Launch of Kabayan Basketball League

LuLu Exchange, in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council, has introduced the Kabayan Basketball League, the largest basketball event for the Filipino community in the UAE. This initiative aims to foster community engagement and celebrate the shared passion for basketball among Filipinos in the region.

## Tournament Details

The league will feature 100 teams, each with 15 members, including a coach. From these, 24 teams will be shortlisted to compete in high-stakes matches. The tournament will take place at Dubai Sports World and Shabab Al Ahli Indoor Stadium.

## Prizes and Community Engagement

A total prize pool of Dh25,000 is up for grabs, with the champions receiving Dh12,000. The league not only offers competitive play but also promotes mental wellbeing and community spirit. Spectators can enjoy matches with free passes available at LuLu Exchange centers.
