UAE weather forecast: Rain, strong winds as temperatures reach 48°C

The UAE is experiencing a spell of intense summer weather, with temperatures soaring up to 48°C in some areas. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted rain in eastern and inland regions due to convective clouds spreading from the mountains.

## Wind and Dust

Strong winds, reaching speeds of up to 45 km/h, are expected to accompany the rain, causing blowing dust and reduced visibility in exposed areas. These conditions are likely to persist over the coming days.

## Temperature and Sea Conditions

Inland temperatures are predicted to range between 43°C and 48°C, while coastal areas will see temperatures from 37°C to 42°C. Mountainous regions will experience slightly cooler temperatures, between 31°C and 37°C. Despite the unsettled weather, sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are expected to remain slight.

## Outlook

The NCM anticipates further development of convective clouds over eastern and southern parts of the country through Saturday, bringing additional chances of rain. Temperatures are expected to rise slightly from Thursday, with winds continuing to freshen at times.
