## Celebrating Agricultural Excellence

The four-day event, held at Expo Al Dhaid, brought together a diverse group of participants, including date farmers, agricultural companies, and government bodies. The festival celebrated local produce and farming skills, honoring 130 winners in various competitions. These contests highlighted different date varieties, local fruits, and innovative farming techniques.

Workshops during the festival focused on palm cultivation, harvesting methods, and sustainable farming practices. A significant highlight was the presentation of the National Food Factory project, which aims to enhance agricultural processing and logistics in the region.

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, chairman of the SCCI, emphasized the festival's role in promoting agricultural competitiveness and innovation. He noted Sharjah's efforts to connect farms with food manufacturing and marketing networks, enhancing the agricultural supply chain.
